Do Not Believe All This: Here’s Why The Fans Thought Dhanush’s Vada Chennai 2 Was Shelved!

Dhanush rubbishes all the rumours, says the project is still on!

Earlier when Vada Chennai released, director Vetrimaran announced that there will be a sequel to the film. However, rumours were rife the director dropped the film as there was a lot of opposition from the people of North Chennai. Now, Dhanush took it to Twitter to clarify about the film. Rubbishing all the rumours, Dhanush confirmed that the film is very much happening. He said, “Don’t know what caused this confusion among my fans. Vadachennai part 2 is very much on , Unless you see any official confirmation from my Twitter handle please do not believe in rumours regarding any project of mine. Thank you. Love you.”

 

This then excited all of the actor’s fans:

 

Dhanush is currently doing another film with director Vetrimaran titled Asuran alongside actress Sneha. The Thulluvadho Ilamai actor is joining hands with Sneha after Pudhupettai which was considered to be a cult film directed by Selvaraghavan. The actor even posted a picture recently with GV Prakash who is confirmed to be scoring the music for the film. He tweeted, “#Asuran .. it was good fun recording with ken , tee jay and g v .. a soothing raw peppy song 🙂 can’t wait for you all to listen to it..”
