Director Sudha Kongara OPENS UP About Her Film With Actor Vijay!

Reports surfaced stating that actor Vijay’s next film will be directed by Sudha Kongara and that the announcement would be made on the actors birthday, June 22nd. Clarifications were recently made through a press release by the director who stated that she does not use any social media and all accounts using her name were fake. She also requested people not to fall victim to rumours made about her upcoming films.

Soorarai Potru, is Kongara’s next film that was due to be released in the summer of 2020. Given the current situation the release date has been postponed indefinitely. The film has actor Suriya and Aparna Balamurali playing the lead roles. The antagonist role is said to be played by Paresh Rawal, marking his Kollywood entry. The film is said to be jointly produced by Suriyas 2D entertainment and Guneet Mongas Sikhya entertainment.

Meanwhile, actor Vijay is also awaiting the release of his film Master. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj,the film has Vijay Sethupati playing the antagonist. The film also features Andrea Jeremiah and Malavika Mohanan. The music has been composed by music director Anirudh. The film was due to be released on the 8th of April. There were also rumours that an OTT platform was willing to release and stream master on their website, however, the creators of the movie declined the offer.
