Director Shankar’s Daughter Aishwarya Marries Rohit; CM MK Stalin Attends!

Director Shankar’s daughter Aishwarya has officially tied the knot with cricketer Rohit Damodharan. Due to the current pandemic situation, the director and his family have only called the closest of family members for the wedding. But, the newly wed were graced by the presence of Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister M K Stalin.

The Chief Minister’s son and politician Udhayanidhi Stalin and Minister for Medical and Family Welfare Ma Subramanian also attended the wedding and wished the couple. The wedding took place in a grand manner in the Welcome Hotel, East Coast Road, Mahabalipuram.

Aishwarya is director Shankar and his wife Eshwari’s elder daughter. Rohit Damodharan on the other hand is the son of the industrialist Damodharan who is also the owner of Madurai Panthers Cricket Team in TNPL. While Aishwarya is a doctor by profession, Rohit is a cricketer and the captain of the Madurai Panthers team.

Reports say that Shankar is planning to host a grand reception once the current situation improves so that he could invite all the Tamil Film Industry stars and celebrities.
