Shankar’s magnum opus Enthiran 2.0 with Rajinikanth is going on in full swing. The film stars Akshay Kumar as the mad scientist and Amy Jackson in the female lead. Known for making films on a grand scale, Shankar initially wanted to rope in Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the role of the baddie in the film. He wanted the movie to have a Hollywood and Bollywood appeal to make the film a success overseas.
However due to production costs and other logistic reasons, Shankar had to drop the idea of casting Arnold. It is to be noted that the ace director had flown down Arnold Schwarzenegger to Chennai for the audio launch of his previous film I.
