Director AL Vijay has directed some good movies and is a known face in the industry. However, he was more entangled in the controversy of his marriage and divorce with actress Amala Paul and his alleged affair with Sai Pallavi.

Rubbishing all the rumours, the Thalaivaa director confirmed that he is now all set to tie the knot with one Dr. R. Aishwarya. In a press statement, Vijay confirmed that it is an arranged wedding. He further added that it would be a private ceremony and the wedding is touted to happen in July 2019. The date remains unknown. Here’s an image of the official statement:

 

 

 

 

On the professional front, Vijay, who is one of the leading filmmakers from South and has made landmark films like Madradapattinam and Deiva Thirumagal, is teaming up with Kangana Ranaut, for a biopic based on the life of former Tamil Nadu CM and veteran actress Jayalalitha.

The biopic will be written by K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, who has also penned Baahubali and Manikarnika, and will be produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh under the banner of Vibri & Karma Media and Entertainment.
