Dhanush had last year announced that he would be starring in the Hollywood flick ‘The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Wardrobe‘, which was to be directed by Marjane Satrapi. The story, written by Romain Puértolas, also starred the famous Uma Thurman in the female lead. But, due to various reasons the movie took a backseat.
This has resurfaced and according to reports, Dhanush is expected to start the shooting very soon. The movie, which will be directed by Ken Scott, will have Bérénice Bejo as the female lead. The shooting is said to be starting in May.
According to reports, Dhanush now has been shooting his directorial Debut ‘Power Paandi’ and apparently it has been wrapped up. He is also shooting for ‘Velaillaa Pattadhaari 2’ and ‘vada Chennai’; and he has just started the promotions of ‘Ennai Nokki Paayum Totta’ directed by none other than Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Apart from this, Dhanush had been stuck in a legal tangle where a couple claimed that the star is their son who was born to them in Government Rajaji Hospital as Kalaiselvan. Although Dhanush had filed a petition to sublime the proceedings of the case saying that it was a clear case of blackmail, it has again resurfaced where Dhanush has been asked to produce all the certificates which prove that he was schooling in Chennai and not in Madurai.
