Power Pandi

Power Paandi is Dhanush’s directorial debut starring veteran actor Raj Kiran in and as Power Paandi. Other notable actors in the film are Prasanna, Nadhiya, Chaya Singh, Robo Shankar and Delhi Ganesh. The film is to be produced under his own production house ‘Wunderbar films’.

Mariyappan 

This is the most recent film to join the list as the first poster of this film was shared by Shah Rukh Khan yesterday (January 1). It is a biopic of the Paralympic Medalist Mariyappan, which is to be directed by Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya R. Dhanush. The film is to be released in Tamil and English.

Mannavan Vandhanadi 

Mannavan Vandhanadi is Director Selvaraghavan’s release for 2017 starring Santhanam and Aadithi Pohankar, a new face. The director will be directing Surya’s 36th film once Mannavan Vandhanadi is released. Looks like the family is having the best year of releases.

Velayilla Pattathari II

This is one of the most awaited movie that K-town fans are waiting for as the first part of the film was a huge hit and the second part is to star actress Kajol in Tamil after 20 years. The film is to be directed by Aishwarya R. Dhanush’s sibling Soundarya Rajinikanth. The film’s shoot started with a hype that had Rajinikanth clap the first shot. This film is also to be produced under Dhanush’s production ‘Wunderbar Films’.
