Dhanush, who was last seen in The Gray Man, is awaiting the release of Thiruchitrambalam, also starring Raashhi Khanna and Nithya Menen. The film, which is all set to release on August 18th, just released its third single yesterday, ahead of Dhanush’s 39th birthday today. This film marks the collaboration of Dhanush and Anirudh after a long time.

The recent buzz is that Dhanush and Anirudh are most likely to perform live to an audience during the audio launch of Thiruchitrambalam. The audio launch is expected to happen on 30th July, at a renowned Engineering college in Chennai. Fans are eagerly awaitingg for the performance as it marks their collaboration after 7 years.

Directed by Mithran Jawahar, the movie features Dhanush, Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles. Prakash Raj and Bharathi Raja are playing supporting roles in the movie.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy with a number of films up his pipeline. Apart from Thiruchitrambalam, he is working on Selvaraghavan’s Naane Varuven and Venky Atluri’s Vaathi. Vaathi is a bilingual film, shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu and is titled ‘Sir’ in Telugu. The teaser of Vaathi is likely to be released today on the occasion of his Birthday.
