Bollywood supergirl Deepika Padukone has now joined hands with social media giant, Facebook to launch suicide prevention tool. Deepika owns an organisation called the Live Laugh Love Foundation, this was after she suffered from clinical depression last year. She works with other NGO’s to improve mental health in the country. Now, she has teamed with NGO Aasra to launch its suicide prevention tool. The tool lets users flag their friends’ posts that seem suicidal. The posts will be reviewed by a Facebook team to provide various suicide prevention resources including a helpline and support to the people suffering from depression.
