Well said!

Despite being only 24, Nivetha Thomas has already had an 11 year long cinema career, starting off in 2008 with the Malayalam movie Veruthe Oru Bharya as a child artist. Her career has gone from strength to strength, and she has really made her mark in South Indian cinema as a whole, featuring regularly in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies in various pivotal roles. Her latest release was her biggest movie yet, the A.R. Muragadoss directed Rajinikanth starring Darbar that hit the theatres on January 9th. Although acting with big stars is nothing new to her having acted with the likes of Vijay in Jilla and Kamal Haasan in Papanasam, Darbar was an extremely important project to her. Her role was appreciated and she is moving ahead with her next film starring Nani.

In her long career, Nivetha has always choosen roles that are meaty and impactful. Same being with V, in an interview with an online portal Nivetha was asked if she chooses her own scripts. To that she stated, “No. Not at all! I take the responsibility for all the decisions I take. I listen to scripts and okay them. But yes, I do share things about it with my parents. I do this for every decision I take even in life.”

On asking about her role in the Nani starrer, Nivetha said, “So I play Apoorva, a girl who is looking forward to writing her first crime novel and is working on it. She is focused, and different. She is not what you see and has a lot more running behind in her mind. I can’t reveal more though, but can say that it is most interesting character I have played till now and is my favourite already. Even my father asked me a lot about the character and wanted to know about it.”

Nani’s is all set to release on OTT platform!
