The only way to not let the Corona Virus spread is to make sure one socially isolates themselves. Apart from which frequent hand washes and keeping oneself clean is the ideal way to avoid catching the virus. The Prime Minister in his recent speech has announced that the country will go into a lock down for another 21 days to avoid fast spreading of the virus. Many of the celebrities are lauding the effort of the Government while some have decided to sincerely abide by it. One such pack seems to be the Haasan pack.

Joining many Tollywood and Kollywood celebrities including Mahesh Babu, Sivakarthikeyan, Suriya and Malavika Mohanan are Shruti Haasan, Akshara Haasan, Kamal Haasan and his ex-wife Sarika. The family has decided to self-isolate themselves at various locations since they had different commitments including shoot days, a report quoted Shruti Haasan saying. She was quoted as saying, “All of us had different travelling schedules and it didn’t make sense for us to isolate together. That’s the decision I feel people should make”.

Kamal Haasan has been active on Twitter updating and voicing his opinion on the on-going pandamic. He had recently talked about the Janata Curfew on and appreciated the Government on taking the first ever move of social distancing. Today, he penned an open letter to Modi, requesting him to provide aid to people who are depending on daily wages. He also requested the Prime Minister to consider providing financial aid to fisher men, farmers and people in such a profession, to whom work from home concept is practically not possible.

On the professional front, Kamal has been shooting for Shankar’s Indian 2 and if rumours are to be true, he is also a part of Vetaiyadu Vilayadu 2. Shruti Haasan was critically acclaimed for her role in the short film Devi also starring Kajol and Neha Dhupia.
