Raadika Sarathkumar has been in the entertainment industry for forty-three years, she is been in films, serials and this journey for hers is very special to her fans, family and friends. Raadika Sarathkumar may have been a star kid but, during her times, star kids were treated very differently. She always mentions that is an accidental actor. Her father (the late M. R. Radha), was the famed villain of the cinema industry and her siblings had ventured into films as well; yet, Raadika was not interested in acting. “I used to go to the sets with my father and see him perform, but never gave it much thought. I used to sit in a corner and read books, I was in my own world,” she said in one of her interviews. There is no doubt she has worked her way up and today she is one of the finest actress with a huge fan following. Raadika Sarathkumar is suave yet simple and is moulded from a different kind of clay. Tried and tested by time and people, she has grappled with the hardest and tackled all the issues head on.

The actress made her acting debut with the 1978 film ‘Kizhakke Pogum Rail’, which was directed by Bharathiraja. From Kizhakke Pogum Rail to Vaanam Kottatum, Raadika has brought to life some unforgettable roles over the years. She has acted in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam films. She is one of the icons of the television industry and one cannot pass through a serial list without mentioning Chithi or Vaani Raani in it.

Raadika started her own company, Radaan, producing programmes for television. As a woman and an entrepreneur the actress faced numerous struggles and challenges and today she is one of the leading businesswoman and actor in the television industry.
