She has three consecutive hits to her credit, with a delicious line-up of films coming soon, making her one watch out for in current Kollywood. In an interview with JFW earlier, Priya had talked about her wedding plans but never revealed who she was in a relationship with.
Meyyadha Mann’s director Rathnakumar approached Priya after spotting her performance in her famous series Kalyanam Mudhal Kaadhal varai with a script and asked her if she would be willing to enter films. “I had received offers even before, but felt I was content with my previous work; I was happy taking vacations and I also had ideas to get married. But, you know, things change for good and here I am doing some wonderful work,” says Priya. Rajvel, who is currently in Australia has been in love with her since college. The two have been dating for a while now and Priya had hinted constantly about her wedding in the future.
Today, wishing her boyfriend Rajvel on his birthday, Priya posted an adorable picture and wrote a wonderful note for him. “I wasn’t surprised when you fell in love with the happiest, confident, less attractive, so-called average looking ‘me’ from college a decade ago. But I am surprised you chose to stay with this ‘new me’ through everything.
