Last month, rumours began doing the rounds that the actress is engaged to be married to a businessman based out of Mumbai. Kajal has now taken to social media to officially confirm the news.
“It gives me immense joy to share that I am getting married to Gautam Kitchlu on October 30th in Mumbai in a small private ceremony surrounded by our immediate families. This pandemic has certainly shed a sobering light on our joy, but we are thrilled to start our life together and know that all of you will be cheering us on in spirit. I thank you all for the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek blessings as we embark upon this incredible new journey. I will still continue doing what I cherish the most – entertaining my audience – now, with a whole new purpose and meaning. Thank you all for your support,” stated the Indian 2 actress in her statement.
In an exclusive, throwback interview with JFW magazine, Kajal stated, “When there is no spark there is no fire. I have never had a relationship with any of my co-stars. We all share a great work rapport. I have kept my journey simple and professional. Of course, we are all great friends.”
On the professional front, Kajal has Indian 2 alongside Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Bhavani Shankar among others.
