When asked how she managed to bag the lead role, the upcoming actress said that the filmmaker thought she was simply perfect for it.
“I got a call from Suseenthiran sir’s office for this role. There was no audition as the director felt that I’d be apt for this role. I am not allowed to reveal too many details about the film or my role. But as the title suggests, this is a sports film that revolves around football,” she said.
Mirnalini, who has a full-time job at an IT firm in Bengaluru, will be taking time off for her shooting commitments. She will be starring in the film alongside Roshan, another newcomer.

The actress recently shared what it was like working in Super Deluxe, clarifying that she does not have scenes with Vijay Sethupathi or Samantha Akkineni in the film.
“My portions were shot in Chennai. I had a great experience learning from Thiagarajan sir. He is an amazing director. He is a perfectionist and had everything organised. He knows what he wants from the artiste. He’s particular about timings. Working with him has only made me punctual and dedicated towards my work,” she told ToI in February.
