Leo is an action thriller film starring Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Menon, and others. The movie’s hype started when it was announced that Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay were joining hands again for the second time. But the hype didn’t stop there. From the announcement of the cast to booking movie tickets, this movie had huge expectations among the audience. It might not have satisfied everyone who watched the movie, but commercially, it emerged as the highest grosser in Kollywood in 2023.
Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Mohal Lal, Jackie Shroff, and Shiv Rajkumar, and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, was one of the most anticipated movies this year. And it didn’t fail to make a mark. With his strong screen presence and thalaivar swag, Rajinikanth is not a hero anymore; he is a superstar, and this film perfectly captured that.
Ponniyin Selvan II

Ajith Kumar’s big release for this Pongal is Thunivu. After 8 years, the Vijay and Ajith movie was released on the same day. And it created and set expectations among fans who were going to win this clash. Though both movies were critically not appreciated much, they gave what fans expected and topped the charts. Thunivu is Ajith’s first collaboration with director Vinoth, starring Manjima Mohan, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, and others.
