Check Out What Manisha Koirala Has Been Upto!

Manisha Koirala ruled Bollywood in the late 90s. The Nepali actress shot to fame after the blockbuster hits Bombay and Dil Se/ Uyire directed by Mani Ratnam. Gaining a considerable fan base in the South, Manisha did Shankar’s Indian opposite Kamal Haasan and Mudhalvan opposite Arjun. After Baba where she was paired with Superstar Rajinikanth, Manisha was not seen in many films. She was last seen in Dhanush’s Mappillai in 2011. Manisha was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012. The actress has successfully fought her disease for two years and was cancer-free by 2014. Since then she has been a active social worker creating awareness about the disease. Manisha was appointed as the UNFPA Goodwill ambassador and she had worked tirelessly to promote women’s rights and prevent human trafficking of Nepali girls.
