Celebrating 50 Years In the Film Industry, Sridevi Shares The First Look Of Her 300th Film.

South India’s evergreen actress Sridevi made a comeback with her movie ‘English Vinglish’ directed by Gauri Shinde. The movie being multi-lingual, it was a blockbuster hit. She was also seen in the Tamil movie ‘Puli’ alongside Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Shruti Haasan, and Hansika Motwani. After that, the actress is currently shooting for her upcoming movie named ‘Mom’, which is directed by newcomer Ravi Udyawar. The film which is being produced by Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor is slated to release on July 14th, 2017.

Sharing the first look and her excitement on social media, Sridevi stated, “When a woman is challenged… Here’s presenting the first look of MOM. #MOMFirstLook.” Pakistani actors Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui will also have pivotal roles to play. The shoot of the movie was delayed due to the ban on Pakistani artists post-Uri Attacks

Nawazuddn Siddiqui will also be seen sporting a meaty role in the movie. In an interview with the media, he said, “I signed the film around ten days ago and was blown away by the thriller’s script. Most of my scenes are with Srideviji. In my opinion, she is the best actress in the country. I have seen so many of her films, and Sadma and Chandni are my all-time favorites.”

Most of the shooting is being done in Georgia and Delhi. This is Sridevi’s 300th movie and 50 years in the film industry and Bollywood’s big director Karan Johar congratulated her for that on social media which said, “Her 300th film….50-year career….my favorite actor….SRIDEVI…..in and as…..”
