Akhil Akkineni hasn’t yet created a stir in the film industry with his films yet. He is three films old namely ‘Hello’, ‘Mr Majnu’ and ‘Akhil’. While his first two films were a huge bomb at the box-office, his last film ‘Mr.Majnu’ gave out mixed reviews from the audience and the critics too. The actor, however, is the youngest son of Nagarjuna and was born to his second wife Amala Akkineni. In a recent, Akhil took a special woman on a dinner date and this picture is way too adorable.

It was none other than his lovely mother and actress Amala Akkineni. He took it to social media to express his happiness. He said, “Well I had a lovely date tonight with my beautiful mother….. been way too long !! As always the best dinner I’ve had in quite some time…. thank you MA. love u.”

Akhil is reportedly opting for a sports related story-line for his next film. Although no confirmation has been made on this so far, it has been reported that Akhil is awaiting the nod of his father Nagarjuna on the story, scripts and other imperative matters that he usually does not prefer taking into his hands.

On the other hand, his brother Naga-Chaitanya and sister-in-law Samantha Akkineni just gave the biggest hit with ‘Majili’ that gained 60 crores in just 19 days.
