Busy Bee Trisha: 6 Movies Of The Actress You Must Watch This Year!

It will indeed be a fantastic year for Trisha. While we last saw her in the Malayalam film Hey Jude, her fans have the horror thriller Mohini to look forward to, slated to release on July 27. Bearing that in mind, here’s a look at what’s in store for the actress:

 

 

1.’Mohini’: The movie, directed by Ramana Madhesh, is a horror thriller starring Trisha and Jacky Bhagnani in the lead. The film which was shot in London is produced by S. Lakshman Kumar and Marvel Worth Productions and will be distributed by Prince Pictures. This will be the second horror film for Trisha after ‘Aranmanai 2’ directed by Sundar C starring Siddharth and Hansika Motwani. The music is scored by Vivek-Mervin. She’s also playing a dual role, with the film being recognised as a women-centric one.

 

2. ‘Sadhuranga Vettai 2’: Directed by N V Nirmal Kumar, ‘Sadhuranga Vettai 2’ is a sequel to the 2014 hit film ‘Sadhuranga Vettai’. The flick will star Arvind Swami and Trisha in the lead. Vamsi Krishna and Amit Bhargav will also be seen in pivotal roles. The movie will be produced by Manobala and has music composed by Ashvamitra.


 

3. ‘Garjanai’: ‘Garjanai’ is an upcoming Tamil thriller film directed by Sundar Balu. The movie is inspired from Navneet Singh’s ‘NH10’ which had Anushka Sharma in the lead role. The Tamil version features Trisha in the lead role. It also features Vamsi Krishna, Amit Bhargav in pivotal roles. The music is scored by Amresh Ganesh.

 

4. ’96’: The movie ’96’ will star Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The fresh pair will be a part of a unique love story and the movie is directed by Prem Kumar. The flick will be produced by Nandagopal and music will be composed by Govind.

6. ‘1818’: The film is an upcoming Tamil thriller which will be directed by Rithun Sagar. Inspired by the events of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the film features Trisha in the lead role, with Brahmanandam and Rajendra Prasad in supporting roles.  Jointly produced by Rithun Sagar and G. Lakshmi under Mindraama banner, the film was announced to have music scored by Thaman.
