Rashmika Mandanna is finally making her acting debut in a Tamil film alongside actor Karthi in the film Sultan and it only recently when the actress shared an emotional note as she wrapped up shooting for her first Tamil film. The trailer has now received a lot of appreciation and we see that Sultan would be a thorough entertainer. Karthi had recently even opened up about his costar and how she has nailed her role as the Graamathu Ponnu.

It was earlier reported that Rashmika would be a part of Suriya’s next with director Pandiraj. But those were mere rumours. Initially Rashmika was in talks with director Hari for his next with Suriya. But looks like it that film is not happening anytime soon.

On the professional front, Rashmika is currently completing two Telugu films including Allu Arjun’s multilingual film with Sukumar titled Pushpa and Aaddaalloo Meeku Joharlu with Satyadev.

Meanwhile Suriya has had a humongous hit with Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru. He now has Vaadi Vaasal directed by Vetri Maaran and an untitled next with Pandiraj.
