What a surprise it was for the fansthe fans when Sun Pictures production confirmed Thalapathy 65 with director Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame. Sun Pictures then went on to share a video confirming the collaboration and fans have been celebrating ever since.

Today, the team has further confirmed actress Pooja Hegde as the female lead for the actor in the film. Pooja is one of the busiest actress in Telugu today with huge films like Radhe Shyam and Bachelor among several others in her kitty. The actress has gone further to step foot into Tamil yet again and how!

Director Nelson, Sivakarthikeyan, who is the protagonist in Nelson’s next Doctor and Anirudh Ravichander also shared the news on social media. This is second time in a row Anirudh is composing music for the Sarkar actor.

It was earlier unofficially confirmed that Vijay and Murugadoss will join hands for Thalapathy 65. Due to financial disputes, ARM walked out of the project and director Nelson has walked in. Vijay has been doing two consecutive films in a row with new directors and their storylines are sure to have a refreshing take. More details on the cast is soon expected to be revealed.
