However, after three days of questioning in connection with drugs-related allegations in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Rhea admitted to have procured and sometimes consumed drugs. Rhea Chakraborty made an emotional declaration, according to sources from ndtv, telling the Narcotics Control Bureau – “Whatever I did, I did for Sushant”.
The Narcotics Control Bureau started its investigation after retriving WhatsApp chats from Rhea’s phone that revolved around procuring drugs, allegedly for Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea Chakraborty was first summoned on Sunday, when she was mobbed by the media upon her arrival for questioning at the drugs agency’s office in Mumbai.
Rhea Chakraborty was questioned for several hours along with her brother on Monday.
The Narcotics Control Bureau claims to have evidence linking her brother Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda (Sushant Rajput’s house manager) to the purchase of marijuana on her demand.
Sushant Singh father filed a case on the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty accusing her and her family of cheating his son financially and mentally harassing him. Sushant Singh Rajput, was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.
