“Shruti Haasan is actually presenting the film, not producing (contrary to reports). My first film Lens won the Best Film Award at the Jagran Film Festival. So jury head was Sarika ma’am (Shruti’s mother). She actually loved Lens a lot and Shruti happened to watch it. Since she wanted to launch her production house Isidro Media, she wanted me to do something for them and during those story discussions, she came on board. The film is mostly aiming for film festivals and will have a release post that,” he tells us.
About the film, he says it has no script.
“It does not have a script, just has a basic story idea. Even the actors doesn’t know what they’re going through. Even the cameraman does not know what he has to shoot. It’s purely experimental and spontaneous, and totally improvised cinema.”
