The second wave of the Corona Virus pandemic has hit the country worse than before and we stay in extremely dangerous times. The virus has attacked many and the cases have crossed the 3 lakh mark. The film industry has seen many get affected and a lot of deaths in the recent past. Last evening, Director Arunraja Kamaraj’s wife Sindhuja passed away and it was reported that she was affected by the Corona virus.

Reports say that she contracted the virus recently and her condition worsened quickly. Though Arunraja Kamaraj could get her hospitalized, his wife didn’t respond to treatments and passed away.

The Tamil film fraternity extended their heartfelt condolences to the family through social media.

Arunraja Kamaraj’s career booster were his powerful lyrics. After being a successful lyricist, he made his directorial debut under Sivakarthikeyan’s production named ‘Kanaa’. The female sports film gained a lot of praise from the audience. He is currently working on the remake of ‘Article 15’ with Udhayanidhi Stalin.
