Actors Suriya and Karthi, apart from being close brothers are doing from incredible work individually as actors. In fact, Suriya even made a cameo in Karthi’s Kadaikutty Singam and that has left the actors’ fans wondering whether or not they will get together for a film. Looks like it that the prayers have been answered. The two actors are all set to do a film together.

The duo are set to do the remake of the Malayalam film Ayyapanum Koshiyum which starred Prithviraj and Biju Menon in the lead. According to news reports, Karthi is expected to play the role which was originally played by the Driving License actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Koshi, and Suriya will play the character of Ayyappan which was essayed by Biju Menon.

The film which was helmed by Sachy. However, the director of this film is not yet confirmed. Prithviraj has just returned from Jordan where he was stuck for 56 days while shooting for his upcoming film Aadujeevitham. The actor is currently under home quarantine.

On the professional front, Karthi is awaiting the release of his next Sultan also starring Rashmika Mandanna. He is also to start the second schedule of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. Meanwhile, Suriya has Soorarai Pottru starring Aparna Balamurali and directed by Sudha Kongara.
