In a turn of shocking events, actor and comedian Vivek has been admitted at a hospital in Vadapalani as a result of heart attack. The actor was recently shooting in Chennai for a film when he fainted on-sets. The actor then complained of chest pain once he was helped by his crew members. He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. The actor is in the ICU as his condition is serious, the hospital PRO stated.

A day before this, Vivek had taken his first dose of the COVID vaccination at the Omaandurar Government Hospital. The actor had even taken it to social media and urged his fans and followers to get vaccinated. He had further thanked the doctors who helped him get vaccinated. “People should not be afraid of any side-effects for these vaccines. Both Covishield and Covaxin will only save us. In case they don’t prevent Covid completely, the vaccines will at least reduce infection severity. Siddha and Ayurveda medicines are all secondary. It is our primary weapon to beat the virus,” stated actor Vivek during a press conference post his first dose.
