When it comes to Vadivelu comedy, the tamil audience have some catch phrases like “Aahaan ”, “Adhu valiba vayasu”, etc that immediately comes to their mind. But, one catchphrase that a lot of us use without actually giving thought to it is “Adichu kooda kepaanga sollidadheenga!” This catch phrase became famous because of the popular comedian’s performance with another less known comedian Nellai Siva. After 36 years in the tamil film industry, Nellai Siva passed away yesterday evening, at his residence in Tirunelveli.

Starting all the way back in 1985 with the movie Aan Pavam, Nellai Siva has acted up till 2021, where he played a role in Trisha’s Paramapadham Vilaiyaatu. He has acted with almost all famous actors of the Kollywood industry including, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Dhanush, Vikram, etc. His most famous performances are in movies like, Saamy, Thirupaachi, Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, Winner, and Run.

He played a role in the serial Mama Maaple. He was also acting in the Tamil Soap Opera ‘Pandian Stores’ of Vijay Television and played the role of Kumaresan Mama. Actors of the serial such as Kumaran Thangarajan and Hema Raj Sathish have conveyed their condolences through their social media. In addition to all the losses, the Tamil film industry has lost yet another gem of a comedian this year.
