Mugen Rao, actor and singer from Malaysia, participated in Bigg Boss Tamil, and emerged a winner in season 3. Mugen Rao and Tharshan were one another’s tough competition but they were both best of friends and had a rather large fanbase coming from two different countries. Ultimately Mugen wn the tittle of Bigg Boss 3 Tamil and also won over the hearts of millions of people across the country and also globally. Mugen was the audience’s most favourite bet and a well-deserving candidate and was definitely a favourite choice.
In an interview with The Times of India, Mugen said, “The first victory in my life is my travel from Malaysia to Chennai. My biggest dream was to do a project in India, and getting an opportunity to participate in the Bigg Boss show was another win for me. I wanted to participate in the reality show and see how it goes. Later, I thought why not put up a strong fight and win the trophy. And when that happened, everything felt surreal. I never expected this kind of support from people.”
From the very beginning Mugen has always stated that he wanted to get into acting. Though singing was his passion he also said that he wanted to enter the cine industry and that is one of the reasons he entered Bigg Boss. Looks like this is going to a good beginning to his life long dreams. His own composition, ‘Enna Maranthe’ went viral with several cover version.
