As Bigg Boss nears its completion with a few wild card entries here and there, this Bigg Boss has more or less been as successful as Bigg Boss 1. Contestants like Madhumitha, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Kavin, Losliya among others were some of the most prominent while Tharshan, Mugen, Sandy, Cheran, and Sherin seemed to be most loved. Kavin has always been in between and ardently participated in all the tasks.

When he willingly walked out of that door, the viewers and Losliya were the most shocked. Kavin also received mixed responses from the audience for his walking out. But, there was something else Kavin had to do. He had to bail out his mother from her imprisonment.

The television actor’s mother Rajalakshmi, her brother Sornarajan, and their parents Damayanthi and Arunagiri had been running a finance company, a chit fund from 1998 up until 2006. They were under constant interrogation after the 34 individuals who had invested in their company filed a complaint against them.

 

 

An FIR was filed the entire clan was imprisoned. The Madras High Court charged them with five years of imprisonment and Rs.2000 penalty per person. They also had to pay Rs 29 Lakh to the investors. Since Sornarajan and Arunagiri had passed away, police arrested Damayanthi and Rajalakshmi.

Kavin was uninformed of the entire situation since he was inside the house. He has taken his mother out on bail and has also promised to pay back his investors full and final.
