Julie, a 24-year-old nurse rose to fame when she was one of the protestors during the Jallikattu movement. Later, she joined the Bigg Boss players in Tamil’s first ever season of Bigg Boss hosted by Kamal Haasan. Although she failed to win the hearts of her audience during her tenure in the House, she definitely managed to grab the attention of everybody. Julie, during her Bigg Boss days, talked about how she wanted to be an anchor and loves to talk a lot.

After she was eliminated from the House, Julie joined a dance programme on Kalaignar Television as an anchor. However, she is not stopping with that. Seventeen-year-old medical aspirant Anita S a Dalit student from Ariyalur decided to end her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan on September 2017, a few months after the Supreme Court dismissed a petition filed by her and a few other students against the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET).
