Sherin was one of the most popular contestants in the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil last year. Her chemistry with Tharshan a fan-favourite too. Sherin first entered the film industry in the year 2002 with a couple of Kannada films followed by her big entry into Kollywood through Thulluvadho Ilamai alongside Dhanush. She is still recognised for her role in that film. Post that she was seen in films like Whistle and Urchagam but she did not establish well in the industry despite being a known face.

However, the actress got her big break through Bigg Boss and won the fan-following too. Sherin recently posted a throwback picture of her and Dhanush shooting for their film together on social media and the picture is going viral. “Mother of all throwbacks,” Sherin captioned her picture.

Sherin has not announced any of her latest films as yet but the actress seems to be very active on social media. Sherin was a point of controversy recently when Tharshan’s ex-girlfriend Sanam Shetty disapproved her closeness with her then boyfriend.

In an interview with The Times of India, the actress said, “Many people consider him to be the winner and that proves his popularity. But I’m clueless how he got evicted. There’s no chance of him getting lower votes than others. Even if we assume that Kavin’s supporters extended their loyalty to Losliya, I don’t see any reason for Sherin to get more votes than Tharshan. This appears fishy to me. But I’m sure he will have good innings in films.”

She further added that the day she met him, he was visibly upset. She further added that the makers of the show made sure that their relationship was not out in the open. She said, “The show was aired in such a way that they wanted to gain TRP by creating a love track between Tharshan and Sherin. There were a few instances where they muted Tharshan’s voice when he uttered my name and ensured that my presence was completely invisible. Sherin, I believe, is the sole person responsible for his eviction. Her behavior seemed too artificial and unfair.”
