Read On!

Bigg Boss Season 5 had its grand launch last week and it completed a week of episodes on Sunday. As usual, Kamal Haasan, the host of the show, spoke to the contestants on the weekend episodes. On Saturday, the audience was shocked to hear that Namitha Marimuthu, the first-ever transgender contestant in Bigg boss Tamil, walked out of the house.

The announcement came from Bigg Boss at the beginning of the episode on Saturday, where Kamal was also informed about the same. However, the reason for her exit has still not been mentioned. Now, her close friend and motherly figure, Sudha has said that she exited the house because of health issues. However, the nature of her ailment has not been mentioned. Fans are still awaiting official confirmation of the same.

Meanwhile, in the Monday episode this week, the first nomination process took place. The promo of the episode showed that Isai Vani, Nadiya, Niroop, Imaan Annachi, Abhinay, Priyanka, Abhishek, and Akshara have been nominated for this week’s eviction. However, the episode revealed that all 16 participants except Pavni Reddy have been nominated for eviction this week. As a first in the Bigg Boss Tamil house, even those who have had only one vote against them have been nominated for eviction.

Further, there are also reports that there might be a new entry into the house in the upcoming weekend episode on Sunday. The expected wild card entry is model and actor Shaalu Shammu.

Shaalu Shammu has worked in films like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Mr. Local. And Irandam Kuthu. She has also been very vocal about facing the casting couch in Kollywood, is involved in the Me Too movement, and is a social media sensation. There are speculations that there may be no eviction this week considering the exit of Namitha Marimuthu. But, as Kamal says repeatedly, the audience is ‘Expecting the Unexpected’.
