Before their traditional wedding in Rajasthan, the couple will have a court marriage in Mumbai. There has been no official statement from the couple on their wedding and no invites have gone out yet.
Fans are excited as ever to see Bollywood’s two icons tie the knot. The marriage is set to take place at Six Senses Fort Barwara, a resort in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. and the buzz on the date circles down to 9th December 2021, when the actors shall marry each other in the evening Hindu ceremony.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are to be a Sabyasachi Bride and Groom. To-be bride, Kat will also wear Abu Jani (Mehendi), Manish Malhotra (Sangeet), and Gucci (Reception) as well.
It will be an intimate affair with apparently 200 guests, and the latest reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan will one of the guests attending Kat and Vicky’s destination wedding in Rajasthan. If SRK attends this wedding, it will be his first appearance at a Bollywood event after his son Aryan Khan’s case.
Talking about Katrina and Vicky, a source close to the news portal said, “They are going to keep a low profile, staying away from the media glare. Shah Rukh may make a quick entry and exit. He also has to get back to his shoots and will not attend the entire 3-4 day wedding.”
Katrina and Shah Rukh share a nice bond. The two have worked together in films like Zero and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Reportedly, Vicky Kaushal too is a big fan of SRK.
There’s interesting buzz that Vicky and Katrina will be imposing a no-mobile diktat for guests at the wedding venue. The event management agency has been asked to ensure that no photos or videos make it to social media without their knowledge. The insider says, “This is a big day for both of them, so it’s obvious that they are going all-out to ensure that there is no situation where photos and videos are being leaked on social media without them knowing. Katrina and Vicky are hands-on with the wedding prep and there is an elaborate team put in place to ensure privacy and security.”
Sources reveal that there will be a designated area at the venue beyond which one can’t use mobile phones. Apart from A-list Bollywood celebrities, the two are also inviting tons of family members from both sides. So, this policy of keeping phones off the wedding grounds will apply to everyone.
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif had an intimate Roka ceremony at director Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur’s home. The ceremony saw only their family members in attendance. Katrina’s mom, Suzanne Turquoette, her sister, Isabelle Kaif, Vicky’s parents, Sham Kaushal and Veena Kaushal, and brother Sunny Kaushal were present at the Roka ceremony.
Amidst such pomp, there’s a bummer reveal by Vicky’s cousin, Dr. Upasana Vohra who has stated that their marriage is a rumor and isn’t happening.
The fans wish this statement would be false as they have adored the lovebirds for long and have buzzed social media with their edits.
