Slamming the recent reports that Amitabh Bachchan is to star in K V Anand’s next with Suriya, the director officially confirms that the rumours are not true. Speaking to JFW he said, “It is true that my next movie is with Suriya but it is not true that Amitabh Bachchan was in the tow. Don’t know where the news gets spread from.” The director who is currently in China is excited about the upcoming Suriya starrer which is to go on floors soon. This will be the 37th film for Suriya and his third collaboration with director K V Anand; the duo had earlier delivered the hits ‘Ayan’ and ‘Maatraan’.
