Actor/Director Balaji Mohan is known for his films like Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, and Maari. In some of these films, actress Dhanya Balakrishna would be seen playing supporting and cameo roles. Balaji Mohan and Dhanya played the roles of a couple in love in the former’s directorial As I’m Suffering From Kadhal. Now, reports suggest that the two have secretly tied the knot in a private ceremony.

It is likely that the duo fell in love while they filmed many films together. If these reports are to be believed, the two apparently got hitched in January 2022 itself, and they have kept it a secret all this while. However, we have not gotten any official news from the couple, who may announce it now that it is out in the open. Balaji Mohan was previously married to Aruna, with whom he split in 2013.

Dhanya was last seen in Carbon– a Tamil film, and Nodi Swamy Ivanu Irode Heege– a Kannada film. She is busy filming for Flip Flop and 2020, both films in Kannada.  She was also seen in two Telugu web series that were released on Zee5 earlier this year.

Balaji Mohan, on the other hand, is directing a Hindi film ‘Click Shankar’ and making his way into Bollywood. The action drama will have multiple installments to follow. The first look poster of ‘Click Shankar’ was launched last May, and the film work has been under process.
