Yesteryear actress and a living legend Jamuna has slammed Baahubali, one of the highest grossing movies of Indian cinema. The former actress, who has acted in over 100 films across South cinema and Bollywood has rarely spoken out in recent times.

At the premiere of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Gauthamiputra Satakari’ she said she found ‘Baahubali’ to be a “stupid film”. She also added that she prefers ‘Satakarni’ and heaped praises on ‘Balayya’. She has even called his efforts “monumental” in the film. She continued her praise on the film, the director Krish and the Satvahana sets, at the movies’ premiere.

Jamuna made her debut as a 16-year-old and is a reigning veteran actress in Tollywood. She has also acted in Tamil, Hindi and Kannada films. Besides an actress, she is also a politician and a director.

‘Baahubali’, a successful  bilingual prequel was well received by critics and audiences across the globe when it released in 2015. Baahubali: The conclusion is soon to be released and the anticipation is high among fans.
