Her match was memorable enough considering she wasn’t in full fitness and managed to put up quite a fight against someone who is 150 places above her in the WTA rankings.
Her bronze medal was appreciated by Sania Mirza, who showered praises on the 25-year-old. Incidentally, Sania had achieved the same feat back in 2010.
