Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 fame Yashika Anand met with an accident on July 24, 2021 around 11.30 pm, near Sulerikadu on ECR when they were returning to Chennai from Mahabalipuram. Valli Chetty Bhavani, one of her friends died on the spot. Onlookers reportedly said that her car was speeding and lost control, thus causing the crash. After the accident she suffered from multiple fractures and recovered after a few surgeries.
According to the police, since Yashika was at the wheel at the time of the accident, a case was booked under 3 sections, including IPC Section 304 A (causing death by negligence). Recenty, the Chengalpattu Criminal Court has issued a summon to Yashika to attend the hearing on the 21st. She did not appear and due to this, the court has issued a warrant against actress Yashika. The police have been ordered to take her into custody if she does not appear in person before the court on April 25th.It has created a stir in the film industry.
