Anushka Shetty who wowed us with her performance in Baahubali, is all set to play a devotee in Nagarjuna’s next film. She has landed in a pivotal role in the upcoming mythological film on Baba Hatiram. The movie is directed by veteran director, Raghavendra Rao. We hear Anushka plays the role of a ardent devotee and is a very crucial character who will take the story forward. Anushka who has essayed many glamorous roles in past, will be seen in a complete de-glam avatar for the first time. She will be playing a woman from the 18th century and a lot of research has gone into her look. Tentatively titled Om Namo Venkatesa, the film is expected to go on floors in July.
