Veteran actress Rambha has filed a case with the Madras High Court to intervene in her marriage and unite her with her estranged husband. The Hindu Marriages Act paves the way for restitution of conjugal rights to the aggrieved partner.
Actress Rambha who ruled the South film industry in the 90's quit acting post her marriage to Indran Pathmanathan, a Canada based businessman in 2010. The couple have two daughters, Laanya (5) and Sasha (1). The couple have been living separately for some time and the actress has now filed a case asking the court to reunite her with her husband in Canada.
