Amidst Wedding Rumours With Actor Simbu, Trisha CLARIFIES About Them All!

Trisha opens up about what she truly believes in a wedding!

A lot of online and media reported that Trisha is planning to tie the knot with Nayanthara’s ex-boyfriend and Tamil actor, director and singer, Simbu. Trisha and Simbu have acted in many films together, the couple’s on-screen chemistry is on point, it will be a lovely news if it is true. The rumor has been doing rounds after Rana’s engagement but is stronger than ever before now, making a lot of wonder if it is true.  The last time they worked together was in  the short film titled ‘Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn’ which is a sequence to the hit romance  Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.  Directed by Gautham Menon, starring Simbu and Trisha. The movie follows a phone conversation between the two iconic characters after they continue to stay in touch for a decade. Karthik is stuck indoors and is worried about the lockdown and the whole situation as it affects his career in movies. The two speak about how their journey in their life has been and their fondness for each other.

Last week, Trisha was seen going in for a salon session amidst wedding rumours and this sparked the story more. However, it has now been reported that thw actress has come clear with a confirmation. Trisha has confirmed that she is not getting married to Simbu and that this is completely a rumour and nothing more. In fact, Trisha has confirmed that they till date remain to be best friends but nothing more than that.

On the professional front, Simbu has Venkat Prabhu’s political action thriller Maanaadu, which is a remake of the film Mufti, and an untitled film with director Mysskin.

Trisha is also quite busy with Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph’s Ram and Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. Simbu’s parents are actively searching for a suitable girl for annarranged wedding while Trisha is currently not seeing anyone.
