Actress Amala Paul was in the news recently for her very public divorce with director A.L. Vijay. The actress has however has not made any statement about her side of the story and continues to keep a dignified silence. Now, Amala has signed the Kannada remake of the Tamil blockbuster hit, VIP, Vellaiyilla Pattathari. The movie which has Dhanush and Amala Paul in lead roles was very well received by the audience for their chemistry. In Kannada, Amala will be seen opposite Sandalwood actor Ravichandran’s son Manoranjan, who will be donning Dhanush’s role. Producers Rockline Venkatesh have confirmed the news saying, We are doing the remake with Amala and Manoranjan in lead roles, though we are yet to finalise other details about the project.
Amala is also waiting for her film Hebbuli with Sudeep, which will mark her debut in the Kannada film industry. Amala has also been roped in to play the female lead in Dhanush-Vettrimaran’s trilogy Vada Chennai.
