A few days ago, it was revealed that Tamannaah will be playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of the Hindi hit film Queen. Sources also reported that the remake will be directed by Veteran actress Revathy, with screenplay and dialogues by another popular actor-director Suhasini. Actor director and producer Thiagarjan went on to obtain the remake rights of the film. He had obtained film rights to remake the bollywood hit in South Indian Languages in the year 2014, but only now has the project began to unfold.

Apparently, the Malayalam remake of the film will have Amala Paul playing the lead. Tamannaah will be playing the protagonist in Tamil and in Telugu as well. Looks like the leading ladies are opting for womencentric roles in a row!
