Amala Paul Lives her Fan Girl Dream

Holy smokes!

After creating a sensation with her lungi picture in Instagram, Amala Paul is back again to surprise her fans. This time around she posted a picture of herself smoking. Yes, you read it right.

Social media went crazy after this photograph came out. Remember actress Hansika is caught in a controversy for her smoking picture that was released for her upcoming movie Maha. A case was filed on her for the same.

To put rumors to rest, Amala Paul posted an explanation along with the photo saying, “This is not me advocating smoking, this is me living my Hollywood fan girl dreams. Every star has an iconic smoking shot, and here’s mine!”

Apparently, she was just creating a moment for herself as a Hollywood fangirl. Although she was not actually smoking, it did get her fans worried. Some of them posted replied to that post requesting the actress to give up the habit.

It may be recalled that in the lungi sensation, the Kerala-born actress was seen wearing a T-shirt with an orange lungi. She wrote, “Welcome to the Land of Lungi; Where everybody drinks Toddy, Appam stew, and Meen Curry, I Know you like it simbly…?? . . . Lyrics from a funny hippie song, I can’t stop laughing out loud every time I hear it! Well, welcome to the land of lungi, drink toddy and make merry! (sic)”

Meanwhile, things are getting pretty good for the actress in the work front post her divorce from director A L Vijay. She was last seen in Vishnu Vishal’s Ratsasan, which went on to become a hit. She is currently part of Adho Andha Paravai Pola and Aadai.

Aadai is directed by Rathnakumar of Meyaadha Maan fame, and its first-look poster raised many eyebrows. Adho Andha Paravai Pola, directed by Vinoth KR, looks like a thriller set inside a forest. It was reported that the actress suffered a ligament tear while shooting for the film. Amala Paul is also busy in Mollywood, she is working in a movie called Aadujeevitham, which has Prithviraj in the lead role.
