A few days ago, Dhanush took to twitter to reveal that the sequel for the hit film Velai Illa Pattathari was being made. However, there were no details about how much of the original cast was going to be retained for the project.VIP 2 has dialogues by Dhanush and Soundarya on screenplay and direction. Sources say that Vivekh and Samuthirakani are also likely to be seen in the sequel.
Recent news is that, Amala Paul too will be joining the crew for the film. With almost all of the characters from the hit film being retained for the sequel, is VIP 2 going to start from where VIP ended? Or is it a new script with the same crew?
