Keerthy Suresh, who started her acting career as a child artist, made a debut as a lead in Tamil with Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The actress has been on a roll ever since and has acted in almost 25 plus films across Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. She was last seen in Vaashi in Malayalam co-starring Tovino Thomas. In Tamil, she was seen in Saani Kaayidham alongside Selvaraghavan. She’s one of the youngest actresses to have received the National Film Award for her performance in Mahanti. Keerthy now has a number of films in her kitty.

There’s an update that Keerthy Suresh has signed up for a film with Hombale Productions, the makers of KGF. Hombale’s newest venture is in Tollywood, a film called ‘Raghuthatha’ starring Keerthy Suresh. Announcing the new venture, the Dasara star took to Instagram and wrote, “Yek gaav mein yek kisan…Raghuthathaaaa! Antha #Raghuthatha…Super happy to be associated for my next adventure with @hombalefilms.” The announcement poster shows a sketch of a young lady with a stern look standing over a train station. The Mahanati actress also dropped some pictures of her posing with the team of Raghuthatha, looking beautiful as ever in pink ethnic wear.

The drama is directed by award-winning writer Suman Kumar. The venture has already gone on the floors and the makers are planning to release the movie theatrically by the Summer of 2023. Raghuthatha is touted to be an uplifting tale of a young woman who finds her true identity as she embarks on a challenging journey to protect the identity of her people and land.

On the work front, Keerthy is currently filming for Bhola Shankar while she awaits the release of Maamannan. Bhola Shankar is the Telugu remake of Ajith’s Vedalam, starring Chiranjeevi. She is also working on Dasara, a Telugu film, where she will be co-starring with Nani. The movie’s first look poster was released recently by the team. The latest reports also suggest that the Mahanati actress is all set to star along with Vijay for the 3rd time. While Vijay is currently working on Vamshi Paidipally’s Vaarisu, it has become official that his next title ‘Thalapathy 67’ is all set to be along with Director Lokesh Kanagaraj.  If reports are to be believed, Keerthy Suresh is most likely to play his wife in this film. The two have already starred together in Bhairavaa and Sarkar. If this project is confirmed, then this will be the third time that the two actors will be working together.
