Ajith’s next, his 60th film, is titled Valimai and the Nerkonda Paarvai team comprising of director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor are getting back together. The team has successfully kickstarted with a Pooja but the female lead is still unknown. Recently reports surfaced that Keerthy Suresh has been signed as the leading lady. But the latest reports suggest that the makers are in talks with Bollywood heroine Ileana D’cruz to play Ajith’s lead pair.

Various speculations are doing rounds but many sources confirm that it would be Nayanthara and Ajith together for the fourth time. However, there is no official confirmation yet from the team’s side. During the Pooja, the team has revealed to the press that the shortlisting process is underway and the confirmation for the rest of the cast and crew will be announced in about a month after all the pre-production work is done.

The new buzz around the film is that actor Prasanna will be playing as the antagonist opposite to Ajith. Fans have also been asking Prasanna whether he is a part of ‘Valimai’ and the actor replied that things are yet to be confirmed.

The tweet does hint that H Vinoth has been in touch with  Prasanna for the film. We’re hoping  that the official confirmation of the same will be made shortly. Prasanna has already played the bad man in films such as Anjathe, Thiruttu Payale 2 and also in the upcoming film Mafia.

Prasanna is currently shooting with Arun Vijay, and Priya Bhavani Shankar  for  Mafia:Chapter 1 film which is touted to be an action crime. He is also working on Mysskin directorial Thupparivalan 2, the sequel to the crime thriller starring Vishal.
