Ajith Kumar debuted in the Tamil film Industry in the year 1993 with the film Amaravathi and ever since, he has given some massive hits including  Aasai, Vaali, Kadhal Kottai and Kadhal Mannan among many others. He is today fondly known as Thala by millions of his fans and is a superstar here. However, how was Ajith back those days when he began his acting career? His costar from Kadhal Mannan and actress Maanu has talked about her experience acting with the star and here’s what she had to say.

Maanu spoke about the amazing experience of working in the film and also of feeling blessed to have had a huge opening in her first film itself. She seems to have been thankful of having got the opportunity to work Ajith and director Saran in her debut. Actress Maanu has revealed that she used to hang out with Ajith’s parents during the shooting of the film. She was also all praise for the star actor saying he used make her feel comfortable during the shooting of the film, which turned out to be a huge hit.

 

 

In the film, Ajith played the role of a mechanic and actor Vivek played the role of his friend. Maanu’s name in the film was Thilothama and she played Ajith’s love interest in the film. The film had legendary music director MS Viswanathan compose music for the film.
