The teaser gives a glimpse into how Aishwarya Rajesh’s character is often told by the men in her village that cricket is not for women, thus not a viable career option. Each time a sexist remark comes her way, she channels it onto her game and throws the ball and leads her team like a pro. Her father, a poor farmer, talks about crops being burnt and how it feels like losing a child, even giving one a glimpse into the plight of poor farmers and why they commit suicide.
At the end, Sivakarthikeyan makes an appearance donning longer hair and proper beard. Arunraja Kamaraj, known for writing the popular ‘Neruppu Da’ song from Kabali, is making his directorial debut in this film. Actor Darshan will also be seen in the film apart from Sathyaraj. Music will be composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, while dop Dinesh Krishnan is cranking the camera. Produced under the banner Sivakarthikeyan Productions, this sports drama is expected to release later this year.
